プロデューサー、作曲家、アレンジャーなど、制作の枠を超えて、数多くのメジャーアーティストをプロデュースする傍ら、新人発掘なども精力的に続けてきました。2009年には、音楽活動10周年を記念してさらに活動の場をさらに広げ、R.Yamaki Produce Project（RYPP）と銘打ち、インディーズ、メジャー問わず1年通して楽曲配信のプロジェクトを行い、平行して開催したオーディションで発掘した新人や、RYPPへ参加したアーティストのプロデュース、さらにはライブ活動のサポートも行ってきました。
このような活動を続けていく中で、以前より思い描いていた「完成した作品をいち早く届けること」の重要性を再確認しました。ライブやクラブで流れる音楽も、繰り返し足を運んでくれる一部のオーディエンスにしか届かず、広く一般には届かない。昨日、涙した曲でも、明日には何も響かないかもしれない。次世代のアーティストを育てることと同じように、鮮度の高いリアルタイムな音楽そのものを、さらにリアルタイムに広めていく必要があるのではないかと。
音楽業界は、常に激動の中にあります。古いものでも新しく、新しいものでも古く感じるような世界で、2010年、RYPPで得た配信のノウハウとメジャーシーンで培った制作活動の場をミックスして、セルフレーベル＆プロダクションを立ち上げました。

「バーボン and コーヒー」は、RYPPHYPEの『好きなものは好き』『変幻自在のプレイスタイル』を、ふんだんに詰め込んだFUNKチューン。山木隆一郎の3オクターブ重ねるボーカルと、マルチプレイヤーならではのスパム春日井のシンセベース、アルトサックスの跳ねるリズムが心地よく、自然と体が揺れる楽曲に仕上がった。楽曲は、「いつか”ここぞという時”にリリースしたい！」と、大切にあたためられていたもの。作詞のYoko Hijiが今のライハイをクールに表現した詞にも注目してほしい。

3rd Seasonの幕開けとして昨年リリースされた「Heartbeat feat.友莉夏」から3ヶ月。待望の新曲「Under The Same Sky feat.友莉夏」が完成。Vocalは、前作に続いて現役女子高生16歳の「友莉夏（ゆりか）」をフィーチャー。さらに今回は、日本語バージョン（オリジナル）とフル英語バージョンの2作を同時リリースする。
